'DAYDREAMS' is definitely one of those parties that cannot be missed and one of my personal favorites..hmmmm now what to wear. Daydreams is usually held on the beach but not this time around. Same vibe, different venue. No beach but there will still be a Hawaiian theme. There is NO BEACH ok, no matter how close Hellshire seems there will be no water at the venue, so don't draw for the swimsuit and show up at Caymanas in a bikini.
Day parties usually call for a more casual look but don't sacrifice the swag just divert it down a new path...Check out some of my choices for inspiration if you're having 'what to wear' issues.
LADIES
Corsets, bodysuits, bandeau tops are all cool options. Don't do the bikini top and shorts look.
Top this look off with a heavily layered chain or sling mini bag
Denim shirt should be tucked into leather shorts. Add a flower clip to go with Hawaiian theme and it will also add a bit of 'girly' to this edgy look.
Shirt dresses are always a sexy alternative to exposing too much skin. Cinch waist with a belt or go without and load on chains. A completely sheer one is cool over denim shorts and a bandeau top like in image below.
Jumpsuits are always stylish, in abstract prints or bright colors they make a statement.
Flirty skirts or leopard shorts like these are colorful and sexy. Pair with a bustier, denim shirt or cropped jacket for added POW!
A cropped top whether embellished or in a great print is a sexy option that doesn't look like you're trying too hard.

GENTS
I love a man in stripes so I'm really hoping to see a lot of that this season...A striped shirt in this baseball tee style is a hot look for men now and perfect for DAYDREAMS.
Bright colored tees in purple, orange or green (you can also think neon colors) are hot options for this Hawaiian themed party or go for pastel colored jeans. Keep the graphics on your tee simple, gone are the days of the one bag o' wings and paint splashes. I love human images on tees, just make sure its a female...
Guys in denim shirts...not something I'm seeing a lot of in Jamaica but denim shirts are big right now. It's a casual look but very fashionable. Add a male brooch(see Osmosis post) and make the look even that more special.
Light colored jeans as opposed to a darker pair are more appropriate for this type of event. If you have the option of lighter colored jeans like this gray pair, draw for it, and leave the dark ones at home.
