RAPID CITY, SD (KOTA-TV) For the first time ever, the Blue Jeans Ball was held to raise money for the museum's education, preservation, and interpretation mission.
Five museum board members offered to raise $7,000 dollars -- in hopes that the same amount of money could be matched by those attending the event.
A unique piece of art history for Rapid City was even auctioned off -- all to raise money for this Rapid City institution.
