I've written about Face Off before. It's basically reality TV for make-up artists. A panel of judges preside over a group of professional special FX artists that have a new challenge every week. Of course, since its American, there is a whole lot of crying and being over emotional. But for the most part, its a serious look at the effort that goes into special FX.
I just wish I had the chance to create some of the looks they get to play with! I am trying to learn special FX at the moment and while I am only dipping my toe into it with warts, spots, cuts and burns. I've really enjoyed watching the effort involved in creating the looks.
