I love the new color focus for Spring Summer. It's always around this time that people ditch the darks and come into the light. Last year it was an insane focus on corals which got quite dull after a while. This year there seems to be a huge focus on alternative colors.
The Body Shop is full of mental colors for Summer. I really love their little eyeshadow cube palettes. What I like about it is the selection of slightly unusual but gorgeous colors they've chosen. It's actually inspired me to possibly try a pink and silver eye today. It's different but with the right amount of blending - it could be brilliant!
The yellow is popping up in a few palettes this year as well. Anastacia BH is all over it in their new color palette as well. I have noticed it because yellow is an underrated color and although, it can be hard, it can also look gorgeous on the right skin tone.
I will say this, I do miss the 90s packaging of the Body Shop products. A lot of companies switched to this clear or silver packaging and I think it looks cheap. One of the things I really liked about the Body Shop was the black packaging. Ironic now when you consider where I work! But I wish they would switch it back.
